How to get started

The world of motorsports is growing an incredible rate.The SCCA has been a starting point for drivers like Mario and Michael Andretti, Bobby Rahal, Sarah Fisher, and Paul Newman to propel into careers with NASCAR and Indy Cars, and you could be the next great driver.

Getting started is easy, and OVR is here to help. We’ll give you the information needed to identify how you can fulfill your need for speed. You will gain a full understating of what the different events are and how you can participate regardless of your experience level.

OVR also organizes meetings, or “socializers”, where you can talk with current members about their experiences in autocross, road racing, or even working at the different events. Socializers are a great way to immerse yourself into a welcoming community of friendly motorsport fanatics, and our people are always willing to help you with any questions you might have. Our Socializer gatherings cover a wide range of activities from school bus racing, baseball games, bench racing, tuning shops, and more giving you an abundance of opportunities to… Socialize!
